A mysterious, elongated stick of ivory has been unearthed, measuring 18.9 cm in length and 2.5 cm in height. Its rectangular cross-section features longitudinal grooves on either side, along with 14 circular holes and a flat end knob. A humped cat perches proudly at one end of the stick, its body adorned with grid lines while its long tail boasts parallel stripes. Unfortunately, the right end of the stick is broken off, leaving its original purpose unclear. Some speculate that it may have served as a day counter. The object is crafted from ivory and bears the markings "Model: Landessammlungen Niederösterreich, Niederösterreich 3D". It was discovered during an archaeological excavation in 1906. If anyone recognizes this item or its intended use, they are encouraged to share their knowledge.
