To enable customizable imports in SketchUp, start by opening the software's import dialog. Locate the STL file containing the object designations you wish to import, then click on it to add it to the project. In the Object panel, assign the newly imported "tag infinite free.stl" with an identifier of your choice, allowing for a unique label and flexibility in naming conventions. This label is what will be visible in the 3D model, giving you control over its appearance during visualization or rendering sessions. Next, to modify the color of the selected object(s), press the pause button on the left side of the user interface to enter "change color" mode. Type a descriptive tag that represents your desired color choice, followed by pressing enter when finished composing your description. Following the entry prompt sequence, an options dialog will be activated, offering customization for settings such as infill density and layer count configuration. As default setting defaults PLA with 15 as the base layer count, you can either adjust or maintain these presets in the available text boxes according to preference, which can also encompass options including adjusting the infill rate upwards, thereby reaching 100%.
