tag holder for perfectdraft beer tap
thingiverse
I'm redesigning the Philips Perfectdraft beer tap to make it easier to attach a magnetic tag to the handle. The original design has a tiny spot on the handle where you can stick a magnet, but it's really hard to find and not very visible. So I came up with a holder that clips onto the top of the handle, making it much simpler to add a printed tag. There are two things to print: the support and the holder itself. The support has a hole for embedding a 10mm rare earth magnet, along with another hole to secure the holder in place. To make this work, you'll need to pause the print at layer 47 (if you're using 0.3mm layers) to insert the magnet. The tag holder can be printed upside down if you want, and the small overhang can either be done without supports or with them. The printed tags should measure around 48-49mm square, leaving enough space for a 2mm sheet of plexiglass in front of it.
