Ultra simple no-brainer wall support for "tado Smart AC Control v3+" (the model does not require a specific bridge to connect to WiFi). To my disappointment tado only includes two stickers in the box to attach this unit to a wall. Seems like a cheap and incomplete design solution especially for bad walls. Previous versions seem to have a wall mount option. I wanted to use a screw to attach it, or have the possibility for a more robust solution than the provided stickers. I also will use this design to integrate it into existing or custom wall plates (have already a design which I am prototyping to integrate a Hue dimmer). The only way I found to elegantly hang and snap the unit was using the small gap behind the USB cable connector to insert a support piece, and leverage the curved inner wall to give some side stability. It all is very tight fit, so you can insert the piece as shown in the pictures and have some stability, too. This design is neither kid, clumsy nor food proof as it purposely lacks a side or lower support, I didn't want anything to stick out on the sides or below as to spoil the minimalistic tado design. If you feel just snap-in from above is not enough, you could add side clamps. No supports are needed for the print. Position the wall hook with the screw hole facing forward on your slicer as shown in one of the pictures. I used eSun Cold White PLA+ I had in stock, 210/60 degrees.
