TACTIX Storage Box Lid Clips
thingiverse
I bought some TACTIX storage boxes to make a "snackle box". I like that the dividers are fixed, and I see the container being easy to clean because of this. The only issue, is the lids are only lightly compression closed. The solution? Design and print a clip. I am no expert, and I'm sure this is rudimentary to most, but it works. Print in Pet-G or PLA (the blue is Pet-G, the orange PLA), and feel free to change the width in the slicer, as long as you leave the height and length alone. In testing, I have found that the Pet-G is more prone to breaking at the clip. I might thicken this section as it would give better heat tolerance if the boxes are left in the car. The TACTIX boxes I am using are the A5, and measure 163x236x58 (all mm).
