Tactix Organiser Buckets
thingiverse
These containers are engineered to complement and fit seamlessly into the Tactix organizer trays, which can often be found at Bunnings. They feature a range of innovative designs: - Compatibility with existing orange containers (you can mix and match in the same tray) - Pourable functionality: The two compartments in each container have a diagonal overhang on an inside corner that holds back parts while you pour out parts from the other compartment, working even better when you hold your thumb above the diagonal overhang. - Easy access to components: Compartments are designed to be just large enough to fit big fat thumbs and fingers into (like mine) to scoop out small parts. The bottom is also filleted on the pouring edge for this purpose. - Stackable design: Feet lock into the tops of other printed containers (this is also how half-height buckets sit in the tray) - Easy printing: A raft or support will be required for the main flat area around the legs, but everything else can be printed without support and relatively quickly. - Label guides to consistently place labels made from standard 12mm tape (guides are 24mm apart) The trays come in two sizes: a large one sold separately and a set of three smaller ones in a carrier. These trays excel for small parts, as the containers are indexed into place, the lid has insets to prevent cross-pollination during transport, and the containers can be removed for easy access to components (you can pour them out). The largest container included with the trays measures 50x50mm, which is unnecessarily large when working with tiny electronic components or really small screws. The containers provided here are engineered to fit in the same way as the orange Tactix ones that come with the trays but allow for further segmentation.
