To use this device, it's essential to connect a rubber string between the end pins and the central rotating pin. A metal stem is also required. This stem can be made from a piece of wire and serves as an indicator for the tangent value on the circular marker when positioned at one of the possible angles on the disk. This assistive technology was created by the Research and Development Group of Assistive Technology at the Federal University of São Carlos in Sorocaba, Brazil. The research team is grateful to the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development for funding the Vertátil Project (Process No. 442261/2016-0).
