These tactile textures mimic those described and used in "A Quantitative Perceptual Model for Tactile Roughness." This set currently comprises the bump textures, numbered one through thirteen. Each texture is a 25x25mm flat plate with raised bumps shaped as truncated cones, standing at 1mm tall, featuring semi-sphere caps measuring 0.3mm in diameter. The bumps are arranged in an isotropic pattern with a prescribed average spacing ranging from 10/16 mm to 26/16 mm. The spacings are etched onto the bottom of each texture.
