Tactile Rubicks cube labels
thingiverse
These custom tactile shapes were whipped up in an evening, designed to stick seamlessly onto an existing Rubik's Cube. The idea was to make one of the most frustrating toys accessible to people who are visually impaired. I took care to create unique shapes that stand out from each other. A generous amount of material is included on the plate - enough for a complete cube and an extra set for any misprints, mistakes or loss that might occur during printing. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer Model: R1 ABS + PLA Rafts: None Needed Supports: None Required Notes: To get the best results, make sure to calibrate your extrusion settings so that the tops of the shapes are flat and even. This will ensure that they don't interfere with the tactile experience. After Printing: Stick the shapes onto a strip of double-sided tape, cut them out carefully, peel off the backing and apply them to the cube.
