We created detailed tactile images representing individual Lego pieces, enabling a student with visual impairment to assemble the Lego Wedo kicker with greater independence. Tactile images of Lego pieces can be placed within an 8-slot sorting tray corresponding to each step outlined in our Tiny Tap "Listen Feel Build" instructions. A student using the system selects individual pieces based on the distinct tactile sensations provided by the image, while Braille stickers highlight duplicate components or identify specific slot numbers. Alongside the visual feedback from these tangible images, a student can then listen to concise app-based instructions lasting 30 seconds per slide and designed with a maximum of four click interactions for simplicity. By accessing the TinyTap platform at http://tinytap.it, one can search for "Listen Feel Build" to explore this innovative system firsthand.
