Tactile Cards
thingiverse
I was asked by a teacher friend to create some index type cards for some of her atudents. We started out with just the 4 seen in the picture but I have added a total of 14 cards as well as a blank one in case someone else would like to make their own. These symbols are not "official" so please keep that in mind. After talking with some other speech therapists and teachers they suggested these cards may work well with some autistic or non verbal children. I have printed the other 10 cards and will update the other pictures as soon as I am able. Dimensions on each card are 3 inches x 2 inches or 76.2 mm x 50.5 mm thickness will very slightly, I wanted to make sure the letters were raised high enough to be felt easily. If you have any questions, please feel free to send me an email and I will do my best to answer. I'm still a newbie designer and have only been printing a few years. Tips are also welcome, that will help me to be able to continue to help this teacher and a few others that have expressed interest in these cards for free as well as help add to this small library of files I have started.
With this file you will be able to print Tactile Cards with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Tactile Cards.
