This product is an universal braille calendar that helps blind individuals find dates without batteries by turning individual wheels. It was designed to assist blind people in navigating dates with ease. The principle behind it is simple: four wheels are arranged for week day, day number, months, and years respectively. Users can adjust the date daily or seek a specific date within a year and identify its corresponding weekday. The calendar's range spans from January 1st, 2018 to December 31st, 2029. Its tactile braille follows standard hole spacing guidelines, incorporating printed gear bearings for smooth spinning while maintaining stability on its axis. Dimensions: 15.5cm x 7.1cm x 7.2cm Print Instructions: This universal braille calendar is designed for SLA printers due to tight tolerances but can also be printed using FDM printers if well-calibrated and with slight size adjustments for optimal pin output. I'm currently printing it on my FDM printer, and I will upload the results soon. Each piece has been separated into different files to facilitate better control over which pieces print together and adapt to each printer's dimensions. For optimal printing, use at least: * 2 vertical perimeter shells * 3 top and bottom solid layers * 0.2mm layer height (preferably 0.1mm or less) * 10% infill You will need to print 72 small braille pins, available in separate files: one with a single pin, another with six pins, and the last with all 72 pins. FDM printing can utilize 1.75mm filament for pin creation. Assembly Instructions: After printing all pieces, fit the pins inside the outer shell from the inside before attaching the Code Wheels and Handle wheels. The Code Wheels objects feature an arrow to aid assembly.
