My wife required a secure method to transport an egg to work for lunch. This presented me with the perfect opportunity to test a grip texture design I had been working on. The cradle features a slight spring, which accommodates a small range of egg sizes. These are designed to fit large eggs, but there's no reason why the concept couldn't be easily scaled up or down. It's worth noting that the egg is placed pointy side down, opposite to how they would typically be arranged in an ordinary egg carton.
