This file was submitted to me by Mike, aka micwillia. Unfortunately, he has gone missing, and I've been unable to obtain his permission to share it. To install a custom grill badge on a third-generation Toyota Tacoma, follow these steps: remove the old badge, replace it with this one, create a new badge, and then attach your new badge to the ring. This is necessary because the standard mounting point isn't flat, which causes problems when trying to secure a flat badge. My recommendation is to make a new badge from clear Plexiglas, about 5-10% larger than the original, using a stencil on the back side and multiple layers of spray paint. I'm currently using this solution on my 2017 Tacoma, but it should also work well for a 2016 model. However, I'm not sure what year they introduced the front sensors; this probably won't be compatible with that.
