I installed the RedArc brake controller in my Gen 2 Tacoma by cutting out a center console blank plate, but it wasn't an easy task. My brother-in-law then got the RedArc for his Gen 3 and since I had access to a 3D printer, I designed this part to avoid chopping up plastic. I didn't have black filament, so I printed test fit pieces in orange instead. In my v2 design, I had tabs on the back like the original plate, but during testing we realized they wouldn't fit, and once I removed them, it worked perfectly without any issues. Now, I'm uploading the v3 STL without those tabs. The rear of the controller button/dial fits tightly into the dash, which helps keep it securely in place. This design should work well with either the Standard or Elite Controller.
