Scaling up this project is definitely on the agenda. Ideally, we'd like to see it around twice its current size. Large prints are always a thrill to work with, and this one promises to be an absolute blast! The whole thing started as a casual conversation in Facebook's 3D printing group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/makerbot/). A taco truck was up for sale, and everyone was eager to figure out how to design and edit it to make it 3D printable. Jim Carter took some designs from Thingiverse, blended them together, and came up with a fantastic taco truck that's definitely worth checking out (http://www.thingaverse.com/thing:1719548). However, we soon started branching off in different directions, and the taco train idea emerged as a clear favorite. One of the main complaints was that most people wanted to print more than just two tacos - fair enough! So, I created a larger car that could hold six tacos. Next up, I'll be working on another version with three or four compartments, so that folks with smaller printers can still get in on the action.
