Taco Train
thingiverse
Update: The condiment car and condiment caboose have been added to the design. I haven't had a chance to print these out yet, but I don't see any potential issues arising. If you do encounter any problems, please let me know so we can address them together. Who wouldn't need a Taco Train in their life?! I certainly did! That's why I designed this model to be printed without supports, making it as straightforward and easy to print as possible. The design is also highly expandable - simply add 2, 3, 4 or more train cars to the back to create an even longer Taco Train. I printed this model in ABS due to availability, but I would not recommend using that material for this project since it's not non-toxic. Instead, consider printing with PLA or, better yet, FDA-approved PLA. Any questions or suggestions are welcome! I'll be posting a photo of the final product soon, so stay tuned! Print Settings: Printer: Flashforge Creator Pro Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .2mm Infill: 15% Notes: This design doesn't require a raft or supports. A 15% infill worked best for me with the flat top of the engine, while printing at .2mm resolution or lower is essential to avoid distorted curves at the top. Post-Printing: The Flashforge Red ABS Taco Train Car How I Designed This: This model was designed exclusively using Sketchup.
