Tack pin wall hook

Tack pin wall hook

I designed a simple wall hook that can go up using two tack pins. The hook is fairly strong and able to hold lots of simple things like photo frames and mirrors and other hang-ables. Photo showing the hanging mirror has been up for the past 2 years and weighs roughly 3-4 lbs. The R+D involved nearly 10 iterations and many broken parts, and major mechanical design to prevent breakage using I-beam structures internal to the hook in order to stiffen the critical regions where most stress forms during the hanging of an item. Also to note, that the pins when inserted are applying a positive load on the wall (at an angle) reinforcing contact of the hook with the wall. Longer pins are better, and nails are even better but may need hole drilling in the printed hook. (I bear no responsibility for any broken things that may happen if things fall off the hook or if the hook breaks)
