Tabletop Token Boxes
prusaprinters
I built this to hold indexed sets of tabletop tokens, such as those in my Paper Miniature Bases. Three sizes are included: 12x1 Medium, 12x1 Large, and 8x2 Tiny. The OpenSCAD file is included and it should be relatively easy to modify this to hold any flat token, or potentially even coin cell batteries. I would be cautious with batteries and ensure that the tolerances are very small between them to prevent accidental shorts. The hinges are printed in place and usually require a bit of wiggling to get them loose. I wouldn't try to force them, if you're having trouble try increasing the hinge buffer in the SCAD file (and please leave me some feedback). The boxes will not latch without some tokens inside to align the lid. You'd need to decrease the hinge buffer for that to work, but I found that tended to fuse the hinge too frequently.
With this file you will be able to print Tabletop Token Boxes with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Tabletop Token Boxes.
