Tabletop Tiled Map - 1" square tiles - Large Pieces
thingiverse
Based on the Jigsaw Terrain by Martin Sykes, used with permission. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4344174 I wanted to print a map 23x36 on my Ender 3 pro. Using these base pieces, you're able to maximize the bed dimensions of the Ender 3 sized beds while reducing your material usage by around 20% and time by about 33% on bigger prints. Also included are edge and corner pieces for a finished edge look if you care. I also modified the tiles to use a spin in place rather than a click in place installation process. I studied 2 people and this was easier to install on an assembled map and had fewer broken tabs. Small sample size, so check out Martin's design if you want to try both and determine what's best for you. This is a work in progress. There are some rough spots in the STL. These are ignored if you're using Prusia slicer and set the Slice Gap Closing Radius to 0.1 or the Filter Out Tiny Gaps setting in Cura.
