Tabletop RPG figure counters
thingiverse
So have you ever been playing a tabletop RPG (Pathfinder, for example) and the GM decides to unleash a swarm of enemies on you to fight? Typically, you exclaim "Orc 1, orc 2, orc 3, etc..." Then comes the fun part - trying to remember which creature on the map corresponds to each number. We recently encountered this issue in our bi-weekly game, so I created some simple counters that we could clip figures into to denote numeration. The originals were a DIY project made with foam sheets and glue, but once I bought a printer, I redid them using TinkerCAD. Since the design required flexibility, I printed them in TPU. Full disclosure: This is my first-ever self-designed project, so I'm aware that the numbers aren't perfectly aligned - for instance. I expect that it's somewhat primitive, but it worked well for me. Please let me know if there are newbie mistakes I made or improvements that could be done.
