Tabletop Miniature Painting Handle
thingiverse
**UPDATE**: I've created a new version of this that can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4384320 \r\n\r\nAfter joining a Dungeons and Dragons party, I needed a better way to hold a mini for painting. Getting restless while social distancing, I decided to design a handle of my own. \r\n\r\nThis prints in three parts. You'll need to print the clamp file twice if you print the parts individually. I've also included a file with all three pieces. I recommend printing each part vertically, with the round cut out pointing up for the clamp file. After printing, just add a rubber band and a mini to paint. \r\nI found that the clamp pieces have a tight fit at first but loosen up after being pushed in and slid back and forth a few times. They move smoothly afterward.\r\n\r\n**Quick Note**: \r\nIf you encounter scaling issues, with models coming out too small, note that the handle's standing height is 85.2mm and the clamp's standing height is 43.53mm. \r\n\r\nI've uploaded revised files for the handle and clamp pieces which shouldn't need resizing. Hopefully these work better with less confusion.\r\n\r\nIf you make one, please post a picture!
