TableTop Hex Terrain
thingiverse
This hexagonal terrain is designed for tabletop gaming use. It can be placed within your world or attached with binder clips to join all sections together. Check out "Layout Examples" if you want to print only what's needed for your gaming table. You can print these terrain sections with or without the hex shape on top. Update 1: - I updated the models to print upside down, making it easier and cheaper using a third-party printing service. Update 2: - A step model was added that can be attached to the existing corner model. Tips: - Models labeled R/L are split parts designed for smaller printer beds. You cannot mix and match R/L parts or use just one part. They're meant to be used as single sections. - "StepLower" & "StepUpper" require both parts to create the STEP terrain section. Leave them separate or glue them together, but you need to print both. - The "PieCenter" is tricky: if you want a large terrain area, you'll need to print six of them, as it's based on the hex grid system and our layout is fixed. This was the only way to create a large flat section by breaking up a large hexagon into six parts.
