Tabletop Building - 3D Roof/Base + Papercraft Walls
thingiverse
This is a versatile building for tabletop games where cover is crucial. Designed for my Battletech war games, I crafted this to serve as a reliable gaming asset. Update V2 has introduced some changes - the paper slot now functions smoothly, and adjustments were made to the roof's base to ensure seamless integration. Printing the base with a raft has proven beneficial, while printing the roof without supports worked flawlessly in my initial test. Initially, the base detached from the print table, so I added a raft during setup, which resolved the issue. Both 3D printers and standard inkjet printers can be used to create this building. For those without access to a 3D printer, an additional page is included featuring the roof on it, printed on thicker stock paper for durability. Cut along the wall lines on the page, then fold them into place. Leave the tabs at the ends to overlap with the walls when placing them in the 3D-printed base. Once the walls are secure, position the roof over them. You can leave this configuration intact or disassemble it after each game session, choosing whether to glue the pieces together for a more permanent setup.
