Tablet stand for Milwaukee M18 battery
thingiverse
I needed a usb powered stand to keep my tablet charged while working night shifts. The usb charger is a cheap dollar store dual usb charger for a vehicle cigarette lighter. Strip the charger down to the pcb board and hot glue the board into the main case. The back panel is pinched between the main case and battery clip. Battery clip uses 2 electrical blade connectors soldered to a bit to scrap 18ga wire which is in turn soldered to the usb pcb. No switch needed, just disconnect the battery when not in use. I added a switch location for a small SPST by request of someone spotting my build at work. I use my Milwaukee M18 battery (5.0) to power the usb charger. gives 60+ hours of use before recharge
