Tablet Stand for HP Stream 7 Windows 8.1
thingiverse
This stand serves as a home for my trusty old HP Stream 7 Windows 8.1 tablet, a device that still holds up despite its age. Its design bears some resemblance to an early Apple computer, but it's far from an exact replica - rather, it's a subtle nod to that iconic look. Over the years, I've managed to damage this stand beyond repair, breaking off all the hooks on the tablet case in the process. A few drops and a replaced battery later, the back cover is now held together with rhino tape. The original cover has also suffered its fair share of wear and tear, so I decided to give it a new lease on life by encasing it in a sturdy frame. I've created two versions of this stand - one that's almost upright and another that's tilted back to mimic the natural position of the cover. The first version is quite snug, with the tablet barely fitting into its slot. It's also slightly too deep, so some extra padding is required to make it comfortable. The second version should be more relaxed, but I haven't printed it out yet.
