Tablet/phone holder for mounting on 2020 extrusion (Ender 3 etc.)
prusaprinters

This provides a simple, slightly angled resting spot that fits a tablet device 10mm thick (or slightly over, but no more than 12mm) with at least a 10mm bezel around the screen (or else you'd be obscuring part of the screen).

You'll need an M4x12 screw and a matching tee nut in the extrusion to mount this. I have real steel tee nuts from Amazon, but printed plastic ones will probably work fine.

I tried to design this to be reasonably strong using the appropriate fillets and ribs, and not to have any fiddly critical dimensions, so I bet a wide variety of print settings and materials will work, but for what it's worth, I used 0.2mm layer height, 0.6mm nozzle, 15% infill, Hatchbox PLA at 205 degrees on an Ender 3 Pro running Klipper. The teardrop shape of the hole is so that you can print it without support.
