Simple grooved clamp accommodates most tablets and smartphones. Made specifically to hold a Google Nexus 7 tablet securely against an electronic drum kit featuring approximately 37.5 mm diameter tubes. Assembled directly onto standard 1/2" copper pipe, this design will attach easily to anything similar in size. The nuts used are 8-32 size, measuring 8.5mm outside and 3.35mm inner diameter. To print successfully, supports should touch the build plate during printing. Adding a significant amount of infill does not significantly increase print time, but is highly recommended for the bottom bracket due to added stress relief.
