Tablet Holder
thingiverse
I required a method of holding a 7" Android tablet in the shop, allowing me to see and interact with it while operating a milling machine. The tablet displays readouts from the milling machine, making this holder an essential component. Print Settings Printer: Prusa i3 MK2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.200mm Infill: 20% Cubic Notes: Two "Tablet Holders" and one each of the braces will need to be printed. Post-Printing To assemble, 8 #6-32 x3/8" button head screws and 8 #6-32 nuts are required. I also added rubber feet to the bottom to minimize the tendency to slide while interacting with the tablet. Design Process The design was created in 2D and then converted to a 3D model. Screw holes and nut pockets were added after the conversion process. The TurboCAD 21 software was used as the primary design tool.
