A Tablet Holder (for 7" tablets) Added for LGv410/Similar Tablets on October 10, 2018 Renamed files, tweaked designs, and added a 'Lite' version for 7" Nexus on November 27, 2016 Versions: Astro - Similar to the Astro Tab A735 tablet holder Nexus - Similar to the Asus 7" (Nexus 2012) tablet holder with side relief for button access Kyocera - A low-profile, compact tablet holder similar to the Kyocera model without extra features Tablet dimensions vary - adjust for your tablet's width and thickness by scaling the part. Use the X-section to get the correct scaling without printing the entire part. Options: Generic Base and Front inserts (use the base to store earbuds or a USB cable) Bottoms - glue them on to make it more comfortable to hold Nexus Tiltback: A stand for the Nexus in horizontal orientation and landscape mode with the Front attachment Print Settings: Rafts: No rafts are needed Resolution: See below for recommended settings Infill: Use 3 top and 3 bottom layers, 2 shells, and 20% infill. For all parts except bottoms, use 15% or more infill. Notes: Depending on your printer, software, and skills, you may need supports for the overhangs. Test first to see if supports are required for the small horizontal overhang-lip that traps the tablet. Clean up, sand, and file the bottom edges to ensure a smooth fit Stylus Cavity: Clean it out with a 23/64" drill-bit and finish with a 3/8" drill-bit Print Settings: Print Height (z) = 0.2mm for the tablet holder and other parts Print Height (z) = 0.1 to 0.15mm for the bottoms to prevent drooping threads
