Working with a 2018 iPad, I've also put my old 3rd-generation iPad through its paces. To minimize space usage during travel, this design is crafted to be compact and foldable. Each part measures 120x120x3mm, allowing for easy assembly into a single unit that fits within a suitcase. Using the Snapmaker printer, I was able to print both parts in just 51 minutes each. This design's efficiency is one of its key features, making it perfect for travelers who need to pack light. The entire project was created using the Shapr3d app on my iPad with an Apple Pencil.
