Tablet Cup Holder Mount or Stand

I always wondered why our tablets came with GPS when using them as a vehicle GPS was so tough to figure out (yes, I know GPS shows up in plenty of other apps). This mount lets you set your LG GTAB in your car like a working GPS. My car GPS can't get maps for other countries, so when I go to Canada or Mexico, I need to take an extra unit with me. This helps me use my Tablet for that reason. It fits perfectly into a cup holder and lets you swing the display around for the best placement. As the ball mount part of this is exactly like used on Garmin devices, you could also use the base to hold your Nuvi if you prefer not to have it on your windscreen. This base is pretty similar to my old GPS mount (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:780518), but I hollowed it out to save plastic, made it a little taller, and added supports to keep it stable. With the extra weight of the tablet, I found the original one was a bit unstable. Instructions The Tablet holder needs supports when you print it. It prints best standing up. It's made to fit on the build plate of a Makerbot Rep2.. Although it looks like the base might need supports, I've discovered it prints perfectly without any help needed. The pictures were printed using the Simply3d slicer.
