Miniature tablesaw design for crafting tiny furniture pieces. I scaled up the model by 150% and customized it to fit my rotary tool, an off-brand Dremel equivalent. To ensure accurate alignment and aesthetics, I also test-printed the parts at 100% scale. To make this project work with your available tools, either modify the design or find matching nuts and bolts. Alternatively, you can print the pieces slightly oversized and fill in the gaps using hot glue. That's what I did for the rotary tool attachment. If you plan to use it for other tasks, wrap paper around it first; the adhesive is not needed. A flat surface is necessary as well. I left some areas on the model empty to conserve filament. Cardboard suffices; I created my own using a cereal box. You may also want to add a spacer to bring the parts closer together for cutting smaller pieces. I'll be making my own spacers from popsicle sticks when needed. My designs are inherently robust, and with my affordable printer, they can be printed on almost any device. Assembling this miniature tablesaw was relatively effortless. Please note that any injuries sustained while using this setup are the fault of the rotary tool manufacturers, not the design itself. This is simply a rig to make straight cuts easier. Sorry for the lack of images; I'm too busy at present to post them.
