Overview
This pack contains a single-slot desk cable clip designed for 7 mm cables (thicker USB, power cables, small HDMI, etc.). The clip mounts directly on the edge of your desk and keeps one cable exactly where you need it – no more chasing the cable when it falls under the table.
What’s included
- Multiple variants for different desk thicknesses (around 10–25 mm – see drawing for details).
- Two length options for each size: Short (S) and Long (L) – choose what fits your setup best.
- For every variant you get:
- .STL file – ready for slicing and 3D printing.
- .STEP file – for editing or customising in your favourite CAD software.
How to use it
- Slide the clip onto the edge of your desk or shelf.
- Route your 7 mm cable through the slot.
- The clip holds the cable in place so it’s always easy to grab.
Print recommendations
- Technology: FDM/FFF
- Material: PLA or PETG (PETG recommended for a stronger grip on the desk).
- Layer height: 0.2 mm (or finer).
- Infill: 20–40%
- Perimeters: at least 3 walls
- Supports: usually not required, depending on orientation and your printer.
File organisation
- Files are organised by desk thickness and length inside the ZIP archive.
- Filenames follow a clear code like CCD7H1TxxS/L (cable diameter 7 mm, 1 slot, desk thickness, Short/Long).
