My intention was to design a compact storage unit that could serve as both a transport container and a miniatures showcase at home. The system is optimized for support-free printing, resulting in three distinct components: a base, an additional level, and a top part. To create a complete box, you'll need at least one base and one top component. You can then add extra levels on top of the base as needed to achieve your desired storage capacity. Each level features a narrow rail that allows for easy attachment of Hobby or Plexiglas sheets to close off the front section (vitrine). Additionally, there's a small hole in each level where you can insert a magnet to secure the glass sheet in place. Make sure to have a corresponding counterpart on the glass sheet. In the center of each level is a channel that measures 10.5mm wide and 1.9mm deep, perfect for holding small 10x10mm magnets. These magnets provide essential support during transport, keeping your miniatures secure. To build your box, you'll need to attach the components using an adhesive of your choice. The dimensions for each level are as follows: Level Size: Width (outer): 200mm Height (outer): 60mm Width (inner): 190mm Height (inner): 55mm Magnet Channel in the middle of the level: Width: 10.5mm Height: 1.9mm Magnet for the glas on the side of a level: Diameter: 3.6mm Depth: 1.3mm
