Table Tennis Rift S/Quest controller VR adapter
thingiverse
I started with a modified version of this VR adapter created by Carrotstien, who updated the handle to suit my preferences; he also gave credit to the original designers in his post. I then applied Esbowman's innovative idea of using a velcro strap, which has greatly enhanced the design. Building on Carrotstien's remix, I added structures for the strap to ensure it fits securely in place. The result is a design that makes it easy to remove the VR adapter for other games. Although I'm not skilled in 3D modeling; I work more comfortably with tinkerCAD blocks, I'd like to improve my skills. This design may be functional, but someone with knowledge of modifying 3D parts could make significant improvements. However, I believe it should meet most users' needs. The strap I used is a drone battery strap with a slightly rubberized backing; it holds securely in place, and any strap will work due to the tight fit which prevents the controller from falling out of the top bracket. I've included multiple pictures for others to see the results.
