Table tennis Oculus VR accessory

I developed this accessory with a friend of mine, Florian Aute, also known as Soulnight on Reddit and Eleven, who regularly plays the game Eleven Table Tennis VR on Oculus. The game physics are amazing, and we wanted to recreate the feeling of holding an actual paddle in the game. This way, you can improve your skills in the game and then use them in reality. We started with a requirement list that included several key elements: * The center of gravity should be at the same location as the real paddle. * The total weight should be between 160 and 190g. * The buttons on the controller should be accessible while on the paddle. * The handle should feel like the real paddle. * There should be space to place the index finger on the back of the paddle (shakehand hold). * The sensors ring should point towards the Oculus to avoid occlusion and tracking loss. * The controller should be easy to fit / remove and keep at the same position every time. The final model was printed with specific print settings: * Layer height: 0.2mm * Wall thickness: 0.6mm * Infill: 20% The printed model fits perfectly around the controller, but the hinge requires some additional work to make it work smoothly. Together with the Oculus Touch and the Eneloop Lite battery, the total weight is 167g (180g with Eneloop Pro). You will also need two M4 screws and nuts: * 10mm (thread length) to lock the controller in place * 35mm (thread length) for the hinge The game has a preset for the accessory under the name VR-Adapter.
