To completely stabilize this unstable D-60mm table leg from the hardware store, you have a couple of options. You can either attach an intermediate plate or connect the legs with struts. Mounting an intermediate plate is the best choice, but if that's not possible, adapting the struts to fit your needs by cutting and mirroring them will also do the trick. To secure the clamps (part 1 and 2), use M6 Nuts and Allen screws that are exactly 20mm long - anything longer won't cut it!
