I replaced the damaged plastic wing nut on my brother-in-law's table saw with a custom design that can be used anywhere a 1/4" bolt with a wing nut is needed for easy hand tightening. To create this replacement, I applied super glue gel into the hole and inserted a 1/4" socket cap bolt, ensuring proper alignment of the hex protrusions.
