I recently purchased a used Ryobi table saw that lacked one crucial component - a knob to adjust the blade height. In an attempt to make do with what was available, I initially considered using the screw hole as a makeshift attachment point, but ultimately decided against it in favor of a pressure fit. To my surprise, this unconventional approach worked remarkably well and met my expectations. After securing the knob firmly into place with a rubber mallet, I felt confident that it would withstand regular use.
