Table & Machine Leveler
thingiverse
I designed this for my new large format printer. Nothing surpasses a square and level machine, so that's how I plan to achieve it. The hex relief visible at the top is also present on the bottom. Place a nut and screw in both, starting with the bottom to level the machines' 2020 extrusions to the world. Then position your build surface on the top screws. I intend to either insert rubber into the socket head cap screws or use plastic dip for the head bolts to secure the glass top. Edit: I chose to use plastic dip on the hex head bolts, as seen in the photo. I also added holes and utilized the remaining carbon fiber tubing (.210" diameter) to create build plate guides that prevent the build plate from shifting or becoming misplaced after removal for maintenance. I prefer a push-fit design for the nuts so they don't fall out during assembly. If they become too tight, use a soldering gun to force them in.
