Table Lock

Table Lock

thingiverse

I'm frustrated by my split table that easily comes apart with minimal pressure applied to one side, revealing a gap in the middle. Searching Thingiverse for locking clasps yielded no suitable options, prompting me to design one myself from scratch. Each piece is mounted to allow the clasp to turn freely, which prevents accidental separation of the table. I built two identical units, one for each side of the table. T-Glase serves as the base material, while Nylon Bridge forms the moving clasp. The nylon's flexibility and low friction against the T-Glase ensure a smooth sliding action between the parts. Unless you frequently open and close the clasp, any material should work equally well due to minimal wear caused by friction.
