Table leg / hand - adjustable
thingiverse
I'm taking Teak's adjustable table leg design and giving it a unique twist by adding a cylindrical extension to the hand that can be screwed into the base, which is securely attached to the table. The hand itself isn't responsible for bearing any weight, as the cylinder extends all the way through. One of the standout features of this design is its adjustability in height, allowing you to customize it to your specific needs. When it comes to threading, make sure to leave enough space (0.5mm between threads) for smooth operation. I found that a small amount of silicone oil also helps with assembly, so you may want to consider scaling up the base slightly. To print the hand, supports are essential due to its complex design. However, the base can be printed without any supports since it doesn't have any overhanging sections greater than 45°. For assembly, a standard M8 nut will be required.
