Table Knife Common Cutlery Low-poly 3D model
cgtrader
A photorealistic 3D model of a common table knife is available. It's fully UV-mapped and smoothable, created with 3ds Max 2011 and V-Ray 2.40. The knife boasts clean topology based on loops and quads, support edges for shape retention after subdivision, and sufficient detail for close-up renders. All objects, groups, materials, and textures have meaningful names. The model has a real-world scale (system units - centimeters) with its base at the World Origin (0,0). Non-overlapping UVs are provided, along with two *.max files - one with V-Ray materials and another with Standard materials. Additionally, a .max scene is included with cameras and lighting setup for preview images and turnarounds. The model is ready for visualization, and each mesh is in a separate file. Three levels of mesh subdivision are provided in exchange formats: 0, 1, and 2. Product previews were rendered in 3DS Max with V-Ray using level 2 mesh subdivision. A turnaround footage video is also available on YouTube. The model can be exported into multiple formats, including max (Autodesk 3ds Max® 2011, V-Ray renderer), ma (Autodesk Maya® 2011), c4d (Maxon Cinema 4D R13), fbx (Autodesk FBX version 2013.3), obj (Wavefront Technologies), and 3ds (3D Studio). The polygon count is 610 vertices, 608 quads, with no tris or ngons. The model dimensions are W=2.4cm, L=22.5cm, H=0.5cm. It comes with procedural materials and non-overlapping UV mapping but no textures.
