I mangled the blade insert on my bandsaw, and when I went searching for a replacement, I came up empty-handed. So, I took matters into my own hands and fabricated one myself. The original insert that came with my saw was woefully inadequate, being too slender by a significant margin, so I beefed it up to a couple thousandths thicker, which allowed for a much smoother fit.
