Table Hockey Player Team
cults3d
Intended for 3D print. Four Table Hockey player models, including a goalie. Compatible with classic STIGA table hockey tables. Please read the information further down on this page. A great alternative if you've lost some of your original figures (as is wont to happen), or if you just want to customize your game with a different type of figures. The model pack includes three outfield players, and one goalie. 1 player without face protection 1 player with a visor 1 player with a hockey cage 1 goalie with old-style stick and protective gear. Effort has been taken to make the figures as compatible as possible with a standard STIGA table hockey table. The mounting holes are dimensioned to fit the sliding rods. The hockey stick blades have (approximately) the same length as standard table hockey figures. The distance between the mounting hole (i.e the axis) and the tip of the hockey stick blade is approximately the same as standard table hockey figures. Differences include the following: At default scale, the 3d-printable figures are slightly shorter and narrower than standard figures. There are larger empty spaces between the hockey stick blades and skates of the figures. These spaces are not large enough to let a puck trough, and should have minimal impact on gameplay. When printed in common 3d-print materials (PLA, resin et cetera), the 3d-printed figures will be more delicate than standard figures. You should, at the very least, be able to play a couple of games without the sticks or other parts of the figures breaking. But I make no guarantees for the printed figures holding up indefinitely. Good thing you can just print another one if the old one breaks... The printed figures will be slightly lighter than standard figures. PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS All models have been prescaled to fit a STIGA table hockey table. Do not significantly alter the default size of the models if you wish to use them as table hockey figures- significantly altering the figures will either make them too small, or too large, to fit on the sliding rods. With that said, you may have to make minor alterations to the size. Depending on your hardware (what type of 3d printer you use, what type of filament/resin et cetera), there will be tiny variations in the actual printed size of the figures. The tolerance levels for the mounting hole are very small. So if you discover that your printed figure does not quite fit onto the sliding rod, change the size of the model by a percent or two, and try again. You can also try to widen the mounting hole of a printed figure manually using a scalpel or other instrument. The default setting of the models is to print them upside down (i.e with their heads to the print bed and their skates up in the air). It is recommended that you print the models in this position, to avoid having to put print supports inside the mounting hole. It is recommended that you choose a high level of infill. This will make the figure more durable, as well as more closely approximating the weight of standard figures. The model pack includes both a left-handed and right-handed outfield player (so that you can use the players in any position on the table). But if you want to change a right-handed figure to left-handed or vice versa, you can just use the "Mirror Model" command in your slicer software to flip the model. If you experience any trouble printing or playing with the models, it would be greatly appreciated if you report this to me.
