Table for Gloomhaven (ill maintained)
thingiverse
A Distressed Table for the Gloomhavn Boardgame. I needed a table that would perfectly capture the essence of a thieves' den, one that exuded a sense of cheapness and neglect. The goal was to create a piece that looked like it had seen better days, but still maintained an air of charm and character. When printing the surface upwards, support is necessary due to its intricate design. However, there's an alternative approach: print the table upside down, taking care not to squish the first layer. This will help preserve the delicate details on the surface. On the other hand, if the nozzle is too far away from the build plate, the fine details might become loose, resulting in a less-than-desirable finish. To avoid these issues, I've included the option to print the legs and table top separately. This eliminates the need for support and allows the surface pattern to face upwards, producing the best possible results with minimal effort – just a dash of glue is required.
