I had a big crush on the children's chair from Bits&Parts that I rushed to make for my son, and now they're both getting older. So I had to build a table to sit at! Don't bother trying to download it - you can get the chairs file directly from Bits&Parts website (https://www.bitsandparts.org/shop/). It was totally worth it: with a 0.5mm nozzle, I printed for 200 hours and used up 2km of filament (about 200€ of PETG). Just think about how fast you could make a wooden table look like this using 3D puzzle pieces! The parts are labeled A1, A2... A6, then B1, B2...B6...B6 until F - that's a 6x6 "checkerboard" layout. Colors: White: A1, A3, A5 B2, B4, B6 C1, C3, C5 D2, D4, D6 E1, E3, E5 F2, F4, F6 Green: A2, A4, A6 B1, B3, B5 C2, C4, C6 D1, D3, D5 E2, E4, E6 F1, F3, F5 All the parts need some support, which makes the "zero waste" balance of this table even worse. Most of the parts were printed vertically to avoid using support on the threaded parts (A1, A2, B1, B2, A5, A6, B5, B6, E1, E2, F1, F2, E5, E6 and F5, F6). For the rest, it's an art - my .factory (S3D) files are no longer usable because of a bug. Finally, for the assembly, I started from one corner and worked my way to the other three at the same time. The parts were cut with a 5° angle to be self-locking, but I'm not sure that was the best idea - it took some doing to get everything together! I had to use a soft hammer to tap things into place and a heat gun to release some constraints. Then, I glued an organic glass plate (plexi or other) on top to keep crumbs from getting stuck between the pieces. The legs are made of broomsticks with felt underneath to prevent wood squeaking on tile when it's used as a trotter. All the parts go through the MicroDeltaRework.
