05/23/2017: Added English version of user manual. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2339991. Welcome! UPDATE: I succeeded! The transmission TR8 increased speed to 9,000 mm/min!!! Watch the video http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2154208 UPDATE: Added spindle mount and cable holder UPDATE: Added user manual!!! UPDATE: Added drawings of parts made from plywood. I decided to create my own desktop CNC router after seeing the work of liquidhandwash. I didn't want to repeat, so I decided to improve it for myself. The basis taken: - case design - view electronics - mounting parts guide What was redone: - Changed housing dimensions to increase processing capacity. It's now 360x240x40 mm. Holes were added in the handle for convenient movement of the machine to another place. Instead of acrylic, I used 10mm plywood for the housing parts. Plywood is stronger and more available than acrylic in my opinion. Bronze nuts were replaced with nylon because they caused annoying squeak when rotating. Longer nuts allowed compensating nuts to refuse, which facilitated screw rotation. A Dremel 395 power tool with 125W and speed of 10,000-40,000 was used instead of a DC motor. This increased accuracy of processing details. The electronics housing was completely redesigned. It's now fully printed on a 3D printer and has all the connectors. I added a control panel on the front panel of the machine with e-stop button, pause, start work, and z-probe connector. Thanks to Jack for easy engraving on uneven surfaces. A sacrificial table made of hardboard was added to the desktop. It allows cutting plywood without damaging the machine's desk. It's also planned to add laser engraving of materials, making it a more versatile tool in my workshop.
