Table Clamp Cup Holder - 7cm and 6cm diameters
thingiverse
Back story: I wanted drink holders for my gaming table, and I really liked the robust and simple design of the original, but the 8mm ring was too large for some of my glasses. Design notes: I made the following changes... - I altered the original cup ring down from 8cm to 7cm, and again to 6cm (both are included). - My table has a lip underneath, so I also shortened the clamp so that it would slide all the way to the lip. I wanted as much of the clamp touching the table as possible, for increased stability. - I decreased the height of the clamp, as it wasn't necessary for the thickness of my table. Printing notes: I printed it flat on the build plate, as well as tilted and supported, both worked fine. Misc notes: Keep in mind that due to the split in the ring, heavier glasses cause it to "open-up/expand" a bit, causing heavy glasses to "sit" lower. I printed 6 sets with 7mm rings and they works great for my needs (all the photos are with the 7mm ring).
